## What does the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) charging case do?

The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) charging case protects the glasses when not in use and recharges them on the go. The case has built-in charging contacts and its own internal battery. When glasses are placed into the case and closed, it automatically starts charging them. A fully charged case provides up to 8 additional frame charges before the case needs to be recharged. Users recharge the case using the provided USB-C cable by plugging it into a wall adapter or other USB power source.
