When a hotel’s Diamond rating changes following an inspection, AAA updates the designation across all of its platforms. The AAA website, mobile app, and booking tools reflect the most current rating based on the latest inspection results. Properties that have improved will display a higher Diamond designation, while those that have declined will show a lower rating—or may be removed from Diamond listings entirely if they no longer meet minimum standards. AAA also highlights notable updates, such as newly awarded Five Diamond properties, through press releases and news announcements. Although updates are made promptly, there may be a brief processing period between the completion of an inspection and the appearance of the updated rating across all AAA platforms.
