The AAA Diamond Program primarily covers North America and the Caribbean. Hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean are eligible for evaluation and may receive Diamond designations. Properties outside these regions are generally not included in the AAA Diamond Program. For international destinations beyond AAA’s coverage area, travelers must rely on other sources for hotel quality assessments—such as professional rating systems, user reviews, or recommendations from travel advisors. AAA travel agents can still assist with international travel planning, offering guidance even when Diamond ratings are not available.
