These days, about all I remember about the Evangelical community is the unbridled venom, the staggering hatred, the willful infliction of injury, and the spite -- all because, like the late Bob Passantino, I had the temerity to insist on evidence. And how I became persona non grata at CRI (and, its allies) because I stuck to my principles, even when it cost me personally.

Christians don't *DO* that, I learned.

And while my time in the Evangelical sewer has changed me irrevocably (and one could plausibly argue that there should be a special place in hell for anyone who has ghost-written a book for Bob Larson), and I've really learned how to hate from the experts, I can't say that Bob and Gretchen haven't touched my life.

News of this kind travels glacially in the heathen world where this recovering ex-Christian now resides, but I just wanted to pass on my condolences to Gretchen. (If your god had better aim, he would have gotten Bob Tilton or Osama bob Larson.) Both of you helped to me see the light, and escape the Christian cult for the final time -- and I have to be better off for it.

Regards, Ken
