Dan, one thing Bob was always insistent on was that anyone who trusts Christ as his Savior and follows Him by the power of the Holy Spirit is united with us in a closeness that no secondary doctrinal issues can separate. Although he (and I) are determined non-Calvinists (figure that out!), and we believe that libertarian freedom alone can allow for actual human knowledge, Calvinists are our brothers in Christ. Of one thing we can be sure, Bob and his Calvinist brothers and sisters in Christ who are with him in heaven are now in full agreement!
: Thank you Lord for helping your church through this brother. You knew my intellectual struggles and gave this man and his wife to help me. Thank you Lord for caring for your sheep. You knew my mind and the dead end I had come to. Thank you for helping me get back on my theological feet. Even though I was and am a Calvinist, Bob encouraged me and I am greatful. Thank you.
: Lord, please help this family through this sad season. May you encourage them and enlighten Your words to their hearts.
: In Jesus name,
