Chad -- I hope by your comment about John Calvin, that you merely meant that he and Bob would be having extended conversations (the only kind Bob knew how to have) -- not that they would be disagreeing. We rejoice that John Calvin hasn't been a Calvinist for nearly 500 years!
: I am still in shock from the news that my wonderful friend Bob Passantino has left this world for the next. He was one of the most unique, intelligent, persistent, and kind persons I know. I will miss those extended phone calls hearing about his latest version of the transcendental argument, or another insightful interpretation of Romans 9.
: I will greatly miss Bob, and am anxiously looking forward to the day of seeing him face to face once again. I expect to find him there in heavenlies in dialogue with an exhausted and weary-eyed John Calvin, having spent many sleepless nights listening to Bob's endless refutations of TULIP.
: Bob was one of a kind. The only consolation I have is knowing that he is now eternally with the Savior he defended for so many years.
