Bob's shoes are way too big to fill in Christian apologetics. We (our Board of Directors, staff, and closest friends and family) have realized that although Bob is irreplaceable, he is definitely multipliable -- through all the investments Bob made in so many people's Christian lives, whether through personal interaction, our web site, or in public arenas like the Bible Answer Man broadcast.
Please let us know what you like best about our web site; what you would like to see changed; and what you would like to see added. We are committed to great growth in 2004 in honor of Bob who would be embarrassed to be spotlighted, but inwardly pleased that he could have a part in the work of the Lord even though he is now in heaven.
Blessings in Christ,
: I first heard Bob and Gretchen on THe Bible Answer Man broadcast back in the early nineties. I was always amazed at what I learned while listening and at the dynamic between them and Hank. All three taught me the importance of answering every man with the hope I have within.
: In 2001 I moved to an area where there is no Christian talk station and have relied heavily on the BAM website and the Apologetics website of the Passantino's. I would be lost without both of them as I spend much time arguing the faith on several message boards.
: Today I learned that Bob had gone to glory.
: I know it's selfish to not want to let go of such a caring, shinig apologist but I also know that he leaves a fabulous legacy behind.
: My heart goes out to Gretchen and family. Your husband will be sorely missed by me and many others who have listened to him over the years. He leaves big shoes to fill.
: I love you, all.
