Thank you for your kind words and prayers. They are especially meaningful to me because you shared that you have experienced what I am experiencing. I don't know how anyone could cope with the loss of their beloved spouse without faith in God, His plan, and His future.
: Good monring Gretchen, you probably do not remember me but I met you and Bob briefly after my wife and I turned our lives over to Christ in November 1996.
: I was at a cult seminar at Saddleback Church (where I am a member) and it was apparrant that you both knew your stuff. It is awe inspiring to see how you both would go throughout the world shining His light and exposing His truth. May God continue to Bless you through the rest of your life here on earth. You said it right that Bob is in the loving arms of Christ.
: By the way, my wife and I were led to Christ through a friend of yours... Les and Barb Salisbury. We started to attend Christ Lutheran in Costa Mesa and I remember how Les would always tell us about you and Bob and have us read your many atricles that you would put out.
: In November of 1996 my wife Joyce Terry was diagnosed with cancer and she too has gone home to be with the Lord (August 1998) It amazes me the way that "The Master Weaver" put us all in each others path to strengthen out faith, I know that you and Bob certainly helped to strengthen our dear friends the Salisbury's faith and they helped us to strengthen ours. Isn't HE good!
: Since becoming a Christian I have led the Grief Support Group at Saddleback and I wanted to share one of the poems that I often shared with others that had seen their loved ones go to be with the Lord.
: It is called "My First Christmas in Heaven"...
: I see the countless Christmas Trees around the world below,
: with tiny lights, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
: The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
: for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
: I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
: but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
: I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
: for it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
: I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart,
: but I am not so far away. We really aren't apart.
: So be happy for me dear ones. You know I hold you dear,
: and be glad I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.
: I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above.
: I send you each a memory of, of my undying love.
: After all "Love" is the gift, more precious than pure gold.
: It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
: Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
: for I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you.
: So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
: Remember, I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.
: May God Bless you and your family this Christmas and always.
: In HIS service,
: Dana Terry
