I was privileged to spend a few invaluable hours with Bob one-on-one the night before his passing. I kick myself for not making sure I got at least one of those in per month, as Bob was more than willing to do. As long as I had the time, Bob had the time. He taught me how to think, how to study, and how to properly defend the faith like no one else could. He always had a meaningful story to tell, an experience to share, a truth to convey. It's great to see how Bob "infected" so many others like he did me. Bob was evidence that knowledge does not necessarily puff up, as love was unmistakably present in his life. I am infinitely grateful for what this great saint meant to me and to the world. I feel I'm not worthy to have been blessed with knowing Bob personally.
Bob will be missed greatly, but lives on in our hearts.
